First Day of Harvest Arbequina is an exclusive and limited edition EVOO, collected on the first day of Arbequina harvest at Castillo de Canena. Every year a personality from the arts, sciences or sports prints their peculiar vision on this magical day on the label.
First day of Arbequina Harvest is a bright green EVOO with an intense fruitiness and aromas of tomato plant and fresh green olives that stand out over other fruity and more complex notes. It is very pleasant and smooth, with prevalence of fresh grass, green almond, green apple purée and green banana skin. Harmonious and elegant with a long aftertaste, the bitterness and piquancy are very balanced and it has the light astringency of unripe fruit rind.
HOW TO USE
Ideal when cooking fish, for dressings and mayonnaise. When making desserts, Arbequina EVOO is an excellent substitute to butter. Store in a cool, dry place away from light and heat.
